A car smashes into a bike race along a highway near the US-Mexico border, killing one and injuring 14 others.

According to Police investigators, Juan Campos, 28, was apperently drunk and fell asleep when his car jumped over the curb and crashed into the race.

He was immediately attained by local authorities and was charged with killing Alejandro Alvarez, 37, of Monterrey.

The locoal authorities say the wreck happened 15 minutes into the race along a highway between Playa Bagdad and Matamoros.
